The MDI mini-implant system has been specially designed to hold the removable prosthesis steady on the completely toothless upper or lower jawbone. 4 mini implants are sufficient to use on the lower jawbone as gravity also helps to hold the prosthesis in place. The prosthesis that is fixed on miniature implants is more stable then another types. The prosthesis stays in place even during chewing more firm food. The preparation process is the same as for the upper prosthesis. We drill the top of the bone guided through the gum (in anaesthesia) and using the corresponding tools we drive in the screws into their place.
